Join community volunteers in an old-fashioned "barn-raising" type event to build 280 window insulating inserts to help households lower heating bills and reduce carbon emissions this winter. Over 1/3 of the inserts are for low-income households over-burdened by spiraling fuel and electricity bills. Pick a shift (morning, afternoon or evening) that works for your schedule. Choose an easily-learned task in the assembly process. Fun and rewarding way to help others. Light lunch served between morning and afternoon shifts.
