Submit an Event

WAIT! Does your event have:

  • funding secured (ie. request already been approved or coming from block/external funding)

  • location secured (ie. already been reserved)

  • other crucial details in place (ie. contracts for DJ’s, sober monitors + safety and security if needed, etc)

Then you can go ahead and submit! Otherwise, please get the above things organized ASAP or we CANNOT advertise your event.


Please email all flyers and graphics to GSC_Communications_Committee@groups.dartmouth.edu, including in the subject line of the email "Event Flyer: Name of Event”. If the subject line does not at least contain “Event Flyer” then it may get missed. Non-square flyers will be cropped to a square for the circular.

Flyer and graphics design requirements:

  • Square aspect ratio

  • GSC logo featured prominently if funded in part by GSC (block funding, standard funding, etc)

  • JPG, JPEG, PNG (NOT PDF)

Event Funding note:

Generally, the Guarini School can reimburse graduate students for approved expenses that are for goods such as food or travel (bus tickets, conference registration, taxi fare, etc.). Graduate Students with funding approval from the Guarini School or the GSC should seek administrative support before hiring vendors for services (DJs, Bands, Caterers, etc.) during various events and initiatives. Graduate students need to seek administrative support because a contract between the vendor and Dartmouth needs to be put in place prior to services being rendered. Graduate students should not be paying out of pocket for services provided to the college. The policies in place are due to federally mandated tax rules and regulations. Dartmouth must remain in compliance.

Failure to follow Dartmouth’s policies will result in payment being denied.
