An Afrocentric cultural nationalist, a radical Black feminist academic, a grassroots community organizer and a moderate-to-liberal grounded in Christian faith. Nigerian American playwright, scholar, and activist Funmilola Fagbamila becomes each of these immensely different Black community leaders as they disagree on how to combat anti-black state violence and advocate for a more just society. With vastly divergent ideas about identity, gender, religion, economy, mental health and public safety, they soon find out they need each other. Fagbamila's groundbreaking one-woman show is an internationally touring, multiple award winning, and critically acclaimed stage play.
