Join us for an introduction to computational text analysis at Dartmouth, hosted by the Dartmouth Library. We will begin with short, "lightning round" presentations by scholars on campus applying innovative text analysis methods to their research (and in the classroom). These scholars include computer scientists, linguists, literary scholars, digital humanists, and neuroscientists.
Participants and presenters will then divide into small discussion groups to share thoughts and ideas about the possibilities, and pitfalls of digital text analysis in an age of Big Data and AI. Participants can ask about presenters' research while also seeking advice on how to approach their own text analysis projects.
Lunch will be included with registration (please contact us directly if you have any food allergies or preferences)
