Communicate Research!
A huge part of success in almost any career is strong communication skills. This term we are excited to announce an opportunity for Dartmouth graduate students and postdocs to develop their ability to connect with audiences and in particular to share their love of research with peers, employers, and the public.
We will be holding a workshop, consisting of three weekly sessions this term to teach students and postdocs skills in research communication. Must attend all sessions. Sessions will be held in person only. Workshops are based on the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science.
We’ll be using fun and engaging improv techniques developed from acting training to help you connect with audiences.
