GWISE Fall Reading Group of Braiding Sweetgrass

To celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day on October 11 and Native American Heritage Month in November, GWISE book club will start reading Braiding Sweetgrass by Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer, known for her scholarship on traditional ecological knowledge, ethnobotany, and moss ecology. Braiding Sweetgrass is about alternative forms of Indigenous knowledge about the reciprocal relationship between land and humans. We will begin reading and discussing the book starting the last week of October.

Free copies are available to those signing up at dartgo.org/gwisefallread (sign up by Monday October 25)
