Graduate student (workers): partake in collective decision-making at GOLD's next General Body Meeting (GBM)! These meetings are the highest governing body of our union, and all members are welcome and called to participate. At GBMs, we keep each other informed about important issues and plan the future direction of our union. Food (typically pizza) and drinks are always served 🍕🧃. For more details on each meeting, including the agenda and the on-campus meeting location, check your Dartmouth email for messages from GOLD-UE.
Not sure if you are a "member”? If you are a grad student and conduct research or teaching for pay, or in the future you might be employed by Dartmouth for research/teaching, then we consider you to be a part of the union. This includes all Dartmouth PhD students as well as all Master's students who are employed for research or teaching. Participation in a GBM requires being in good standing with the union, which you can ensure by signing your card and authorizing dues deductions if you have not yet. In solidarity!
