Shabazz Basement

Part of contemporary resistance can take the form of pushing back against notions that Black hair isn't professional; we want to empower Black individuals to feel confident wearing their hair. In collaboration with the Pi Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, this event will demonstrate how wearing and taking care of our natural hair is a form of resistance against the status quo that denies Black Hair the freedom to exist in its natural state.
