Campus Connect Training

The Counseling Center is offering Campus Connect Suicide Prevention Trainings this Winter term for students, faculty, and staff.

For Students:

  1. Thursday, January 26th, from 1pm-4pm (In-Person)

  2. Wednesday, February 22nd, from 9am-12pm (In-Person)

For Staff / Faculty:

  1. Thursday, January 19th, from 9am-12pm (In-Person)

  2. Wednesday, February 8th, from 1pm-4pm (In-Person)

Campus Connect is an evidenced based suicide prevention and crisis intervention program recognized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in their Best Practice Registry. This is a 3-hour training that will assist members of the Dartmouth campus in:

  • Increasing knowledge of suicide warning signs,

  • Enhancing effective communication skills when working with students in crisis,

  • Enhancing self-efficacy when responding to students in crisis and when referring students in crisis to the appropriate campus resources.
